Timing
When it's needed
Widespread hairline cracking, fretting tile surfaces, repeated leaks after ordinary rain and pointing that sheds into the gutters all point past repair. A re-roof also suits renovations extending rooms under the existing roofline, where matching a discontinued tile profile is no longer possible.
Stay off the roof. Aged tiles crack underfoot, brittle sheeting can fail without warning, and unprotected edges cause serious falls. Photograph from the ground or a window and leave the climbing to crews with edge protection and the right equipment.
